| As
my two young daughters grew towards early adolescence
I began to notice their skin changing. It wasn’t
nearly what you might think of when considering often
more dramatic teenage skin issues, however, each began
developing a few blemishes every now and then. This
was one of the many inevitable signs my girls were
growing up and did not alarm me, but it certainly did
remind me it was about time to teach my girls some
additional basics of daily skin care. |

I went out to the marketplace to see what was available
to help me teach my girls appropriate daily skin care for
this delicate stage of life. I was surprised to find very
little remotely suitable. Most products were filled with
potentially harmful chemicals and needless, harsh additives,
and the choices essentially boiled down to skin care for
babies or skin care for adults, or something really made
for adults, but marketed to youngsters. None seemed right.
I was looking for something appropriate for the skin in
between.
First,
it needed to be pure and gentle. My prime objective was
to teach my girls about taking good care of their
skin. I certainly didn’t want them using unnecessary chemicals
or other possibly harmful ingredients. Frankly, I’d
prefer a dirty face and blemished skin. Second, it also
needed to appeal to their sense of style and burgeoning
independence so they would actually use it. If it didn’t
have the pizzazz their age group needed to spark the
desire to use the product it would fail and we would
be back at
square one.
To
my surprise there was nothing yet out there that quite
fit these important and practical needs. Knowing how
important this was for my daughters I knew I had to find
a solution.
Speaking to others with children further confirmed my
resolve so off to work I went. After nearly two years,
much research,
countless experimentation and several trials, I came
up with the bTween formulas. Fun, easy to use, gentle
and
all-natural products suited to this stage of changing skin.
